The Role

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Manager. This role will be responsible for a large team of direct reports, with support from Team Leaders and Office Supervisors. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, team player who can manage and motivate the sales office and order processing functions in the branch.

The ideal candidate would be sales minded, keen to achieve branch targets and ensure customer service excellence at all times. IT skills are essential along with encouraging and developing staff to their full potential in supporting the sales drive within the company.

You should have experience in a sales order processing or customer service role, coupled with adequate IT skills and good communication skills. You must be capable of working under pressure to meet sales targets, as well as managing a large team of internal sales people.

Job Specification

  • You will be an inspiring leader, communicator and team builder
  • You will also be able to interpret complex information and act decisively on it.
  • Ensure all Branch Targets are met:- including Sales, Margin, Inbound call KPI's
  • Present sales data and forecasting at regular Management meetings
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with the wider branch network to establish Ideal Bathrooms as an effective and profitable distributor of Bathrooms
  • Maintain own knowledge and to delivering a consistently great experience to customers to meet the requirements and standards of Ideal Bathrooms and the wider Saint Gobain brand

Person Specification

  • Experience within the trade would be an advantage, although not essential as we will offer full product training
  • You will have a strong background in management of large teams within a customer service environment
  • A superior focus on the customer is an inherent part of your character; you'll also have experience of meeting Training and Competence requirements and be fully accustomed to using office and sales support systems
  • A willingness to take part in CPD “ Continued Professional Development”
  • But most of all, you will share our 100% dedication to delivering excellent customer care
