Glasgow depot continues to strengthen our Scottish distribution channel

Due to demand from our Scottish customer base, we have invested in our distribution channel by moving to a 33,000ft2 warehouse in Glasgow, which provides over 1,500 pallet spaces, ensuring we have the best stock holding capability, with increased availability for next-day delivery.
As part of the Saint-Gobain Group, the Glasgow hub has also been recognised internally after being shortlisted for the Saint-Gobain Reference Awards’ Ops / Manufacturing Site of the Year.
Warehouse Manager Charlie McGlade said: “The depot has made things easier for customers, particularly in Glasgow and Lanarkshire, as they now have access to our stock on a same-day collection basis.”
To continue the development of the warehouse, we are also trialling lightweight Handheld Terminals which increase accuracy of stock, order picking, van loading and delivery.
