GROHE supports users with energy efficient basin mixers in popular ranges
GROHE’s cold-start taps facilitate users to reduce their energy usage, resulting in reduced bills and improved energy efficiency within the home.
Available across their most popular designs, GROHE’s SilkMove ES technology provides users with a user-friendly energy-saving solution. SilkMove ES technology, where ES stands for Energy Saving, equips basin mixers with a cold-start function, meaning the tap will only supply cold water when the lever is in the middle position. This results in making running warm water a conscious decision, helping to reduce the use of warm water unnecessarily, thus saving on energy.
Alongside GROHE’s cold-start technology, many of the tap models include GROHE’s EcoJoy technology, which further supports with conscious consumption. GROHE Ecojoy provides a reduced water flow, with up to 50% less water consumption without compromising on performance, providing households with the added bonus of saving on water, alongside energy.
GROHE supports with resource-efficiency and conscious consumption throughout its product portfolio and brand initiatives, with sustainability as a core value. GROHE and LIXIL most recently announced the inauguration of a solar park at Albergaria production site, which will provide 8% of the production site’s energy requirements.
