The newest addition to the Ideal Bathrooms flooring portfolio sees a stunning range of luxury vinyl flooring (LVT) in the form of Berry Alloc Pure.
Long considered something of a low-cost and less inspirational alternative to tiles or wood, vinyl flooring has undergone a transformation in recent years. The stigma of the traditional old vinyl on a roll is long gone, as Rigid vinyl couldn’t be further from the truth. With advanced technologies creating hyper realistic textures and luxurious matt finishes, LVT is quite often almost indistinguishable from the “real thing” – be that wood, tiles, marble or stone.

Manufacturers have really upped their game, investing in design and product development and utilising advances in print quality and surface textures to revolutionise the market. As a result, there is now a truly stunning selection of sophisticated designs to choose from. The 14 strong décor collection from Berry Alloc has been specifically chosen for the UK market, and includes large format LVT tiles which offer on-trend industrial chic, along with whitewashed, grey and classic oaks.
Best for bathrooms
Berry Alloc Pure is water resistant, so suitable for use in bathrooms, kitchens, en suites, cloakrooms, utility rooms, and more. The vinyl surface is bonded onto a substrate rather than pressed onto it, giving a softer finish and increased sound absorbency; Pure is up to 50% quieter than other LVT floors, and up to 30% lighter. It is also compatible for use with water piped underfloor heating systems for an added touch of luxury.
Fast to fit
Easy to cut and handle, at only 5mm thick Pure can be cut with just a Stanley knife and requires no specialist tools to fit. In addition, the innovative DreamClick® installation system not only provides strong, quick and simple click installation, but it allows the creation of patterns and designs by either laying the planks in different directions (such as at 90 degree angles), or mixing tiles and planks within the same room to create patterns and designs; ideal for zoning open plan areas, such as in a kitchen diner. With large format tiles at 612mm x 612mm and plans sized 1326mm x 204mm, large expanses of flooring can be fitted in a fraction of the time it would take to tile a like-for-like space
