Welcome to our new Sales Director

We have strengthened the team with the appointment of a bathroom industry specialist.
Gary Matthews has joined the team as the new Sales Director with 28 years of experience in customer service and sales environments in the building materials, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom industry.
Having worked in sales since 1994, Gary has progressed through a variety of roles, from Area Sales Manager through to senior leadership positions, in retail, trade, online and specification arenas.
Gary has worked for market-leading brands including Kohler Mira, Grohe and Ideal Standard with his most recent role being UK Sales Director for Grant Westfield, where he built a growth platform for the Multipanel business.
He will concentrate on the development of the business’ sales strategy, focusing on the customers’ needs, building sales excellence and working collaboratively with key suppliers.
Gary expressed how delighted he is to be joining the team. He said: “Having been a supplier into the business in previous years, I have observed Ideal Bathrooms becoming the leader in its field and as I know the team well, I feel totally at home and privileged to become part of that environment.
“I have a background in developing channel and customer plans that are researched, understood and implemented, ensuring the business is aligned to customer needs and equipped to support the professional development of our customers’ businesses.”
