The sensor detects hand movement so water only runs when it's needed – delivering washing enjoyment while saving precious water – so it's ideal for the cloakroom at home and in busy public spaces.The laminar mousseur provides a crystal clear, non-splashing water stream and also limits the water flow to eco-friendly 5.0 l/min. You can adjust the temperature effortlessly with a small lever on the side of the tap and it can be limited with the use of a small enclosed accessory – saving energy and cutting any risk of scalding. The convenient high spout of the tap comes with an adjustable swivel range that can be set to 0°, 150° or 360° for full flexibility. And the hard-wearing GROHE StarLight coating uses physical vapour deposition (PVD) for a ten-times higher scratch resistance than ordinary chrome. Plus the tap is more hygienic and quick to clean as there is much less skin contact. This advanced mixer only takes a few minutes to install and its pre-settings are optimised for most washbasins and personal preferences. The Cleaning mode is easily activated by covering the bottom of the sensor with a thumb, which temporarily locks the water flow. There are three modes: product cleaning (the water flow is deactivated), automatic flushing (how often and how long the water flows) and thermal disinfection (the run time). The GROHE Remote Control (36407001), which is sold separately and can be used with other GROHE products with an infrared sensor, enables added functions, including service adjustments and monitoring. The solid brass body is built to last and the touchless technology uses low-energy electronics so the batteries last seven years – even if the mixer is used 150 times a day!
